Life's Most Important Work

Sometimes I think of my kids as a group, a very special and important group that are so often in my thoughts and at the top of my concerns. Then I shift to each of my children and I picture what they’re involved in or going through and I try to feel their individual feelings, specific to their experiences: being nervous and excited for a sports tryout, excited for their first concert or their first time on a golf course, college kids barely scraping by to pay for rent or excited about a scholarship or date... and so much more.

They certainly fill my life with so many emotions and I am so happy to claim them as my life’s most important work. I am consistently impressed by their fun, kindness, hard work, goodness, and the incredible people they are. I love them so deeply as a group and each one individually! I am definitely their biggest fan!
