Douglas County has some of the best athletes in the country. Many enter their senior seasons with multiple D1 offers to some of the best universities. During this school year, we will highlight some of those athletes, their accomplishments, and their promising futures.

Lilie Cohen
CHAPARAL WOLVERINES
GOLF

Lilie is currently ranked No. 1 in the CHSAA Class 5A Girls Division and No. 2 across all classifications. She has already earned two All-Conference honors and one All-State selection.
At Chaparral, Lilie holds the records for:
Best state tournament finish (5th)
Lowest round ever recorded: 68 (-4)
She has received offers from multiple Division I programs and remains uncommitted.
Silas Meuli

PrepBaseball.com ranks Meuli as a Top 12 recruit in Colorado and No. 1 at his position.
Silas is:
A three-year varsity starter
A 1st Team All-State Academic honoree
A MaxPreps preseason All-State selection
Silas has committed to Chandler-Gilbert Community College.
Rylann Taylor
PONDEROSA MUSTANGS MUS
TRACK & FIELD

Rylann is entering her fourth year on the powerhouse Ponderosa Varsity Dance Team.
Her accomplishments include:
National Championship as a freshman
Rookie of the Year
Continental All-League athlete
Two-time state finalist
Rylann is currently uncommitted but hopes to attend UNC or CSU after her senior year.
